Membership & billing
Yes. Founding members are free until 1 October 2026. We take your card details when you join so your membership is ready the moment you are — but you won't be charged a penny before then.
Your first payment is taken on 1 October 2026, at the monthly price of the plan you chose. Everything before that is completely free — no countdown, no surprise mid-month charge.
Three Individual plans: Explorer (£42/mo, 30 credits), Adventurer (£67/mo, 50 credits), Pioneer+ (£92/mo, 80 credits). Pick the one that matches how often you head out. You can change or cancel before your first charge.
Anytime, yourself, from the Stripe customer portal linked in your account — no emails, no phone calls. Cancel before 1 October 2026 and you'll never be charged.
Yes — it's a monthly subscription that renews each month until you cancel. You stay in control: manage or cancel it yourself at any time through the Stripe customer portal.
Credits
Each plan gives you a monthly pot of credits — 30, 50 or 80, depending on your plan — that you spend on events. Different events cost different numbers of credits depending on their value, so a relaxed weeknight costs less than a marquee night out.
Unused credits roll over up to one month's worth, and expire 2 months after they're issued.
In practice that means you can carry up to one month's worth of credits into the next month — so an Adventurer on 50 credits a month can hold at most 100 at once — and each batch expires about 60 days (two months) after it's issued.
Credits expire roughly 60 days (two months) after they're issued. It's a gentle nudge to get out and enjoy them rather than let them pile up — your evenings, used.
Yes — you can book up to 6 tickets in a single booking, so you can bring friends along on your credits. There's no separate group plan; every Individual membership can do this.
Curation
When you join you tell us what you love — the categories, neighbourhoods and price range that suit you. From there Ocio curates a personal selection of after-work events, so you spend less time scrolling and more time out.

London only, for now. We cover 16 neighbourhoods — Soho, Shoreditch, Hackney, Mayfair and more — across 9 categories of after-work events.

Referral
Earn £10 for every friend who joins. Share your link; when a friend signs up and confirms their email, a reward worth £10 (7 credits) lands in your account. It's referrer-only — your friend just gets a great membership.
As soon as your friend confirms their email after signing up — they don't need to become a paying member first. One reward per friend who joins.
Booking
Here's the honest picture. Live today: curation, sign-up & onboarding, membership & credits, and referrals. Coming in September: in-app booking — reserving your spot and paying with credits directly inside Ocio (we call it OcioSync). We'd rather be upfront than over-promise.
OcioSync is our in-app booking layer that connects you straight to venues — a September feature. Until then Ocio curates and plans your evenings, and full in-app booking follows.
